Integral Modifications: Beryl wing test
Attached photos of modified Integral with Oxai Beryl wings. Goal was to improve snap characteristics for the P-09 and F-09 patterns. I have 10 flights on it and am impressed. Fairly significant modifications required on the Beryl wings as far as attachment, alignment, and wing tube shimming while retaining the ability to put the stock wings back on with no changes. Beryl wings have longer root rib chord, narrower tip chord and resulting greater overall wing taper.
I have always been impressed with the snap characteristics of the Smaradg and Beryl airframes/wings and wanted to test these wings out. Beryl wings are almost identical to the Smaradg in overall plan form as you might expect for Wolfgang Matt designed wings. So far so good. Obviously the colors are not a good match -- that will be fixed later.

Well, obviously you will be painting the fuse to match those gorgeous wings. Don't forget to paint the new name on the fuse.
"In ta barrel" , " In da barrel" ???

Reminds me when I contemplated building a new Synergy wing for my Alliance. I had a bit of a problem renaming my model " Allergy" so I ended up building something different.
