Default Altair 200

Newer from the Naruke stable.
This could end as a Oxai build plane. Nice to see some new plane commig down the line. Need to get some thing to build when non flying weather starts here in Iowa.

Actually the plane is made by Extreme Composites - you can see their logo on the nose.

Naruke has had this available for a while. Bill Cunningham received one last spring and I believe, flew it at the NATS. As far as we can tell it is the same plane as the Aries but with the straight stab. The Naruke site indicates the Altair is best for the P pattern and the Aries best for the F pattern.

Wounder if BVM-prop's will get a crack at selling them over here in the U.S.A,...anyone?

The answer is probably yes... BTW I think the Altair 200 is slightly different to the Altair 09.

The Altair 200 is a very nice looking plane,.....wonder if someone from BVM will chime in for some clarification on time lines.

Bill did have it at Nats and flew it very well. I think it was the 09 Version though. Did it have anhedral stabs or not. cant remember.

My understanding is that the Altair (recommended for P09) is the non-anhedral version of the Aries (recommended for F09). The Altair 200 is new, and apparently a larger fuse.

This from a friend in Singapore.

Regards,

Dave

Just to your information guys .
www.throttlestore.com and www.hobbyeurope.com is the sole Xtreme distributor for all Europe, Russia, Middle East, Africa and South America and can purchase all these models either free of freight charges (within Europe) or to very low freight costs to the rest of their area. Their prices are the same as if you buy directly from the factory, but you will save a huge amount freight costs and maybe more too . Just give them a call, use their web shop or email them. As far as I know, the Altair 200 is still in the sea, arriving Europe maybe already next month or early December
And, Altair 200 is the full version suitable for the new F3A program. Altair 09 is a smaller, and cheaper, version of the the same model.

And the good news now is that Xtreme allow them to sell to USA and Canada too

After fly Altair 200 for about 150 flight......
I feel...That is really good plane,Altoough Altair is recommended for P-09 but Altair 200 can do F-09 very easy,Compare with othr plane...The wing looked smaller,So it snap good.
Anyway...This plane almost perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
