I want to thank Jon and the crew in Crowley for putting on yet another great contest! Good food, excellent weather, and great people. Jim Sheffield was the recipient of this year's Ray Rhodes Memorial Trophy. Whenever you see him, make sure to congratulate him and thank him for all he contributes to pattern in District 6, he's truly a great guy. For anyone who missed this one, I would encourage a visit to one of the two contests held at this field next year, it really is a great time. I think we had 26 registered pilots for this with the advanced class being the largest. All classes were highly competitive from Sportsman all the way through F3A, with many placings not decided until after the final round.

More of the pilots dinner along with Jim Sheffield, the recipient of this year's Ray Rhodes Memorial Trophy.
You will also see a few pictures of the hall that we rent for our dinner. The owner collects John Deere tractor toys.
he has over 1,000 in the hall.

Thank you to everyone that came out for the 3rd annual RAMS Cajun Nationals. I hope that you enjoyed yourself
as much as I did. We had a good turn out and in between the food and fun a pattern contest broke out. Maybe next
year we should spend more time flying and less time eating

This contest was very well put together and very fun. A big thanks goes out to Jon, Jim, Jons wife Cris, and there daughter for having the scores put out promptly, and many other people who contributed to this great success.
