Default Winter Projects

Here are my winter projects...The fuse's are just about ready to glass.

I'm building a Black Magic V3 and a Pentathlon (vintage not evo<G>)

The BM weighs 1069 grams and the Pentathlon weighs 1029 (but add another 33 for the ventral fin and straps) Still a little more sanding to do before I put the glass on...but I'm getting excited...just thought I'd share<G>.

George, you were not supposed to let the cat out of the bag so soon, [sm=wink_smile.gif] hehe

Looking very snazzy George, we should see those out at the field in a couple of days right.

Here's one of the projects I'm working on at the moment, the 'Zeohyr'. Moved on a bit since this photo was taken, ready forpaint now.

Greg,

I started the V3 last August and got it ready to finish in the early fall, then I started the Pentathlon a little before Thanksgiving. I've been going slow on them because I'm in no hurry. I've been playing with some "non-traditional" power sources for these we'll see.

Hi
I prefered the lines of the prototype Rapture over the production model. Much much nicer looking bird.

Mike,
More to the point, that production Rapture 110 has a cowling fixed to the fuz (not removable like OXai's stuff) and propably provision for a nose ring....That should make it a much more accurate proposition than the competitors in the air.....
