thanks bubba. but it seems that os does carry the ring. it is just the picture that is wrong. it does not show the reliefs at the end gap to fit around the location pin of the piston

Hey nitrobill65. No offense, but I don't even like canadian food.

Bryan
I've yet to finish reading this fascinating thread which I thought would die upon termination of the auction... not so!

This is hilarious though Bryan!

It reminds me of a SNL show being hosted by some Canadian actor (several Hollywood actors are, we just don't necessarily know it). There was a skit about Canada and there was a line that went something like:

"Canadian food... it's awful! They eat things like toast and cold cuts"

I'll never forget that skit.

I have to say though, nothing quite like good simple Italian fare... from the old country I might add. It just doesn't taste the same here.

... I did not have my wife bid to up the sale price. Do you think some one was going to bid more than 500$ for it. THe best part of this experience is i am now using two fingers to type. If any of you guys go to toledo in april i will bring the engine for you to look at.
Bill,

actually a new Hanno recently went for over $650 - granted, new. If you find a way to turn your "Hanno" into an authentic rebuilt Hanno it might go for a figure in that ballpark. We Hanno fans seem to find deep pockets for this sorta thing.

I'm actually considering going to Toledo this year. Anyone else?

David.

ROGUEDOG i angled the exhaust port down at about a 45 degree angle,so as not to have a square wall causing turbulence.because the sleeve is all the way down in the block(not shimmed up), the exhaust duration was down to 136 degrees .So i raised the exhaust port to 150 degrees. i did not raise the window parallel to the top of the port. but in the same fashion as a 5-12 roof pitch. i did this because it
widens the power band . the pipe does not come on so abruptly. and as soon as it warms up i am going to see if my efforts were in vain.
