Gary, Jamie

Great to here you guys are haveing a contest. It's going to be right in the middle of melon season for me but I think we should be able to get Chris up there for that weekend. Looks like you guys have a great field and I'm glad to see another contest hit the books.

Folks,

Camping is available....but no hookups. There are plenty of motels at the I-65 Prattville intersection.

Hey Jamie,

I'm sorry that I can't be there, but I'm sending as many as I can from my little crew here around Lakeland. Larry Loucks, Chris and my new found sportsman friend will be there. The old ugly Focus will be there flying in sportsman this time with Danny behind the sticks, so look out. I saw your field from the aerial photos and man that's a perfectly laid out field. You guys are clear all around with no obstruction anywhere. I'm going to hate not being there but watermelons call and that's what let me do pattern in the first place. With melon season here, that mean I get to stay home at night answer the phone talking to truckers and building my new VF3. It will make it's first appearance at Huntsville in September. Maybe by then I'll be able to fly it too. You guys have a good time and I will see you in September.

Hey Jon,

Sorry to tell everybody but.....

We've got a vacation planned....

We are vacationing with friends and went back and forth with dates before the prattville contest was set. our friends booked their flights about 2 weeks before the contest date was set. That was after they rescheduled twice because of other meet conflicts....

I would be there to support Jamie otherwise...

Hester doesn't have an airplane yet.....LOL

However I MAY be able to swing by and fly Saturday with a borrowed plane or something. I really want to go. But my first priority right now is getting a plane built for the Nats.

Jamie's a great dude and I want to come out and support his contest. So hopefully I'll figure something out.

Hey Guys,

Is there any electricity at this field? I wonder this just in case I get off my duff and finish my Black Magics that Mike brought me a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks,
Emory

Emory,

You better tighten up and get them done or at least one of them and fly at Prattville. If you don't I'm going to send the Kool-Aid man around there and get you going. I now you don't have that much to do so no excuses.

And by the way Mike you can fly my plane too. [sm=drowning.gif]

Dad if Mike started to fly your plane, he would start doing Figure 9 knife edge exits, and then you know all hell will break loose after that.[sm=50_50.gif][sm=cry_smile.gif] lol

Wow thanks for all the plane offers guys. But that's not a problem really. Having my own and practicing with it is a problem though. If I fly I will probably fly Mike Wingo's, as it's already REALLY close to the perfect masters set up. heck it was better than my own plane...

Right now I am planning on coming, maybe just one day, I am not sure of the details yet. I have a LOT of work to do if I want a plane for the nats. And I'm probably going to do the same at Andersonville. I can't spare much more time than that....but I love to fly with you guys, so I'll do my best to be there for both.

Greg, just show up....I'll help you get it snapping. or at least we'll find out why it's not doing it now. Astrals should snap!

Now I have to down a pitcher of kool Aid and get back to work.... [8D]

Emory,

There are a couple of electrical outlets at the field...regularly used for charging electric airplanes.

Hope that you can come. I think that I've finally got myself in position to come to a contest after missing the two great FL contests.

Cheers,

Ken B.
