Hi Rune,

Spring has 'sprung' here too, warmer day's with longer daylight hours and very welcomed after a bitter winter.

Hope you have a great season and thanks for sharing the pics, lovely scenery!

Regards,

Andy.

Hello Norway
I know what you mean by spring time, but we have lots of snow here in North Sweden.
Hopefully it will be gone in 3-4 weeks time.

And yes, that airplane Avioneta looks nice. Do you guys have any more pictures of it?

Me myself are going to fly a Proline with a YS cdi.

yes its a nice plane ...dont know if the designer have I have only that pic.
The designer is in this forum so maybe he want to post some pics , I dont think he are going to make any for sale but it is a nicely made nice set off molds .
He used I think 50gr/m2 glass , foam and kevlar ..the fuse ended up really light and nice dont remeber but I think the prototype was around 4,6 kg ready to fligth.
Thats wery nice .
The Avioneta is made with 2 piece wing nice big canopy and belly pan.

You lucky *******...
I have the whole of easter off work, and a good 20cm of snow all over my home-field... Bummer. Even dug out snow for a good 2 hours trying to get a patch of "green" the other day.
Now I'm just sitting here with fully charged batteries on both my pattern planes, looking out the kitchen window at all those snowy fields... Good thing it's raining today! My wife is getting fed up of all my nagging... -WANT TO GO FLYING!!!

Nice job by Mr. "Senior" on that homebuilt! Looking forward to seeing it in competition throughout the season. I had a sneak-peak when it was still in whitefoam. Looked promesing even back then.

I read that you guys invented skis with wall paintings dating back some 4000 to 5000 years. That Osmose 70 could use a pair. Giggle giggle.

More from the land of vikings
I am lucky enough to have an asfalt home-field, but we still had high snowbanks last week.
Picture 1 : showeling snow to try to find the apex-lines of the sector-markings.
Picture 2 : All ready to go on saturday, even with the sun-shade gallow up. No serious flying due to the fog.
Sunday was nice though, got 4 flights with my plett-powered Oxalys, aiming for mor during easter.

We're still getting this cold weather down in France too. Why just yesterday evening I had to go back to the car and grab a jumper before another few flights it was that cold! Shorts and a shirt just don't hack it at 7 in the evening just yet

Yes, we did crack open the barn walls and put the remains on our feet some thousands of years back. But try fitting an average barn door to your pattern missis... I'll put my Osmose on a sledge if I have to..
Maybe the wife's hairdrier gets it tomorrow.

Ahh.... the luxuries that some enjoy.

Woke up at 5 am this morning and spent the next 6 hours in -5C weather with blustery winds and flurries falling from a moving stormy gray sky. Hands turned blue due to our optimism that it is spring after all and refused to put on the gloves sitting in the car.

This will probably be the last of it. It better - my wife beat me in a bet where I said we'd see no snow in April... I'm not sure what we bet, but she won

David.

FINALLY!
from 20cm to "green" grass in approx. a week... You've gotta love springtime! (Pictures taken 7th April, 10th April and 12th April...). Sorry about the poor quality, all taken by cell phone.
4 flights with my Suxess today. Hopefully more tomorrow, depending on the weather. Maybe take the Osmose 70 out for a spin as well.
