Default Jupitor Pattern Ships?

I have an opportunity to buy two JUPITORS, One complete less receiver and one for a backup with nothing.
Do any of you remember them?
Were they any good?

This one has a YS 120 in it with a tuned pipe.

Default Jupitor Pattern Ships?

Great looking airplane! I've seen several fly and their owners were very happy with them. Dave Stuart (a buddy of Dick Hanson's kitted the plane - I think you can still get one from Dave) kitted it with 2 wings if I remember correctly (900"sq and 1000"sq). They look good in the air, just no as much side profile as the new designs (Smaragd, ANgels shadow, etc.). If the pice is right and you like them I think you'll be very happy flying them.

Default JUPITOR

THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE WILLY!

This is the fiberglass one. The guy is bringing it up for me to check it out next week. I remember a few years ago he flew it while I was there and it was real pretty in the air.. EVEN though I think it looks like a PORPOISE on the ground. hahaha I don't know which wing it has.

I'll probably pick it up, the price is pretty right. even though the YS 120 is really outdated any more..

Default Jupiter

I bought the 1,000 sq inch version from Dave stuart last summer. He is still kitting them at a very reasonable price (under $300). Just about have it finished, just need to paint. Using an OS1.40 on a bolly muffler.

Hey Jeff,
Let us know how it flies. With the OS 1.40 you may need airbrakes

Default Jupiterr

On recommendation, I've gone with a 4 bladed prop to slow the down lines. Hopefully, it will work!

Default Jupiter

I just finished my Jupiter up. Weighs 9 and 1/2 lbs, with an OS 1.40 and a bolly pipe. Hope to test fly this week.

Thought you guys might want to see it (if I can figure out how to insert a picture)
