Anyone need a dog cheap see me. My wife can get shelter dogs anytime you want since she spends half her life getting them placed with new owners. I know this because we keep all the retarded ones for ourselves.
Arch you need one and I'm not talking the whimmpy lover dogs like Lotto. Mike

Celastic for sale.
Sorry, couldn't resist, I grew up in Chicago and saw Mups53 fly when he was considerably younger. Go D5!

I want to thank Bobby Satalino and Dave Johnstone for putting together another great event. Not only did we get to see some great flying, but we got plenty of weather excitement. We all looked like a bunch of drowned rats when a huge storm blew through and soaked us.....there was virtually no place to go to escape the driving rains. Tents were crumbled but fortunately I believe that most had gotten their planes safely stowed in their cars prior to any tents causing damage.
We managed to get 4 rounds in on Saturday for all classes despite the rains. Great job guys on another shootout. Some great ideas were floated for next year's shootout, I look forward to seeing the developments on those ideas.

I want to thank everyone, too. This was my first Shootout and my first contest in Intermediate.
You know you screwed up a maneuver when you hear a judge say "Oh...", but it helps when he gives you advice on how to save it next time.
Thanks for all the very helpful flying tips and for the fellowship.
Scott

I know some places
FAI: Mike Klein.... Wow!!!!! Mark Atwood, Dave Johnstone
Masters: Mike Mueller, Bobby Satalino, Brenner Sharp
Advanced. Anthony Abdulah, Bob Condrell, John Snow
Intermediate: Ron Hansen with an EEEE. Jim Gruntkowski, Joe Bruzinski
Sportsman: Peter Van Husten, Sean Atwood.
Sorry if I made an error that's all from memory. Spelling too I'm just not sure I have them all right.
We had 9 guys in intermediate and the quality of the flying in that class was impressive to say the least.
Bset flying plane I've seen i a while was Mike Klein's brand new Visa with the Neu motor. Safe to say this guy wants a piece of the pie again.
Most improved from last year for me goes to 3 guys I can think of off the top of my head.
Joe Bruzinski, Jim Gruntkowski and Mark Atwood. All were doing a nice job.
E vs: IC. Many more on E. than I've ever seen. Lots of different setups all seemed to work well.
Most impressive demo I've ever seen was by Bob Pannel and his 10 foot long fuse EDF UPS DC10. Plus he flew it like a pattern plane.

Thanks to all! I know we got alot of practice seeing how fast we could assemble and disassemble planes but the contest was a great success!
I was one of the 9 Intermediate guys and recieved alot of super instruction and encouragement. I'm sure for at least half of the Int. guys that this was their 1st contest after moving up. A pretty harrowing jump for me anyway, but with all the super folks around us , the transition was made successfully.
Thank you Dave and thank you Bobby. See you in Grove City.
