Scores are starting to be posted in case anyone is watching Its nice they are posting actual tear sheets as well. I see some low scores (and even a zero) on a couple guys in the 2-1/4 spin!

As usual, Ola Fremming (team Norway) is reporting from the EC on his blog:
http://blog.ofremmi.info/

And a hint: if you don't want to open each PDF score sheet to know the total score of a competitor (over at the official website), just hover over the icon with the mouse: the total score (raw score) is in the file's name.

Thanks Ola!

for now:

CPLR 514 points (My God) on round 2
Seba 507 points on round 2

Looks like both are ahead of anyone else....

If you the check overal scores which are the sums of both panels Seba and CPLR are close by a hair...unbelievable. I think CPLR lost the first round because of very strong wind according to what Ola Flemming reported. Seba must be flying very well though...best of luck to all competitors.

I hope you don't mind if I provide some more links to reports live from Austria...
My good friend Christian Rannetshauser (team GER team manager and F3A-Hydro pilot) and his son are also reporting from Austria, although in German. Link here: http://www.rannetshauser.de/f3a-em-2010/index.php
Team Spain is uploading daily videoblogs on Youtube. Sadly some of the videos appear to contain copyrighted music and are banned in some countries - I provide the link nonetheless: http://www.youtube.com/user/andresgirabel

What did it happen to Gerhard Mayr in round #3?
Zero all the way from half square loop on corner, 2/4-pt rolls.

After 3 rounds in the same panels in P, CPLR 1501, Seba 1501,40.

For these pilots the competition has just started, the scores just show that they are very close nothing more.

Federico Hinestrosa
It seems he had a problem with his power system, motor, speed controller, regulator or battery.

It almost looks like the wing and tail from an F3d pylon bird on a pattern fuse. The Russian competitor's plane with the in flight adjustable battery tray (CG adjuster) is interesting as well.

One of the GBR pilots, Kevin Caton reported that the internet connection was poor from his hotel. Its unclear if this is the same for all connections to that area, which might prevent video uploads?

I wrote to the event staff with our request .
According to (Sorry in Spanish Language): http://www.acro3d.com/public/phpbb3/...=6655&start=60
Jonathan Girabel from Spain team, yesterday had a "Flame out" at the start of the "M". His Spark is powered by a Hacker C50 inrunner and ESC, maybe the adverse conditions of water and a lot of humidity affected the powerplant.

Regards.

Default RE: European Championship In AUSTRIA

Hello to All
I have just come from the European Championships in Kapfenberg, Austria. I had made only one OK, (three) photos. It shows the machine of CPLR with the original signature of the multiple Austrian world champion Hanno Prettner. I think he was visit Hanno in Carinthia. CPLR flies so not better. But it is a recognition.
SEBA, Gets more points, than he........but this is a think of the jury. Competition pilots know this. Gerhard Mayer had at round 3 Problems with the Controller. The regulator has turned off. He flies the new Advance of Plettenberg. Super Engine. I have spoken with Gerhard and he loves the new Pletti. I saw it myself . Great........
Special greetings from Austria EM
Andreas
On Friday I will go back to the semifinals and Saturday's grand finale.

Individual results are up: http://www.f3a-ec.eu/pdf/res_individual.pdf
CPLR is in front, followed VERY close by Seba. Everybody else (including Mayr) doesn't seem to keep the pace of the two front runners.
Tomorrow is the official day off, semis will start on friday and the finals are scheduled for saturday.
