Default Fut 7c 2 aileron servo, eleavtor, rudder and steering

Hi Gang,
Has anyone here successfully set up all seven channels. This is for an EDF.

I need two elevator servos, 2 aileron , 1 rudder, 1 steering and throttle. I thought I had it right. But now the steering servo does not move.

If it's been done, then Ill go back and finish it. I might just be suffering from brain fog. Or maybe I'm just looking for an excuse to upgrade my radio.

Thanks
Mitch

Hi Mitch,
Is this a 7C 2.4, or the earlier 7C 72Mhz?
The 72Mhz does not have the ability to have trim coupled when running dual elevators AFAIK.
Are you using a P-mix to mix the rudder channel to the steering servo? I would think that would work. I don't have a 7C (9C and 8FG), but I'm sure you can do a simple mix from rudder to the AUX channel you have the steering servo on.
If all else fails, a nice new Futaba 8FG is the ticket[8D]

Hi Pete.. It's the 7C 2.4. First I did a p mix for the elevator. Yup. Trim works on one side but not both. Then I try some of the other mixes. I have enough channels free. But some of the mixs just slave to certain channels. Maybay I'll contact futaba support.

This could just be my much needed excusui to upgrade my radio

Hi Mitch:

Try this,

Ailerons 1 and 6 (Flaperons) go to page 42 of the manual
Elevators 2 and 5 (Ailevator) go to page 45 of the manual
Throttle 3
Rudder 4
Steering servo 7 (Mix)

Then use a Y to connect the batt to any of the channels.

Hope it helps,
Doug.

Thanks Doug... I can't get it to work. Ailevator seems to be hard coded for 4 and 5. I'll try again this weekend. It may be time to spring for a new tx
