Welcome to France !

41 MHz or 72 MHz

U normally must have a "radio" licence, not free ... depending where u fly, you may be asked to show ur licence ....

Where do u plan to fly ?

I was traveling around Marseille and Rousset a month ago and was amazed at the beautiful fields available for r/c flying. Any idea where CPLR flies ?

Default TAKE CARE

As long as you fly little elctric powered aircraft not on a particular R/C site, you're liable to pull through without any licence. Simply pay attention the area is clear enough ! It could be dramatic If you hurt someon or caused damage... No electric cables, no house, etc ..; but you know that, as alll rc flyers do !

I do not know exactly where CPLR trains.

Regards

the 72 mgz in France is in the same band but different frequency then here in North America.

There appears to also be an RC band on 26MHz. The 41 MHZ band is the only one listed as aircraft only. There are fifteen channels on 72 that match the US channels. But only fifteen of them. so it would be a good idea to check.

You can do that for the UK and much of Europe at: www.ukrcc.org
