Default Corona RP4S1 reciever operation voltage

Hello,
Does anyone know if this receiver works on one single lipo cell of 3,7volts?
I know the manual says Voltage 4.8V ~ 6.0VDC.
But maybe someone has already tried it on 1S lipo cell?
This isq the reciever: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=5785
Thanks.
Regards Wes.

I use this model in one cell planes and it work Ok down to 3V(same with GWS Pico). Don't know about the synthetized version, but it would cost nothing to try it!

I don't know, that is pretty close to brown out voltage to begin with.  A heavy pull on the battery, like an extreme manuever causing several servos to pull at the same time might draw the voltage below cut off and you would lose the receiver.  I would be inclined to use two batteries and see if the system would tolerate 7.4 volts to start with, it so then go that way and not worry about the potential for a brown out.

But then it is your system and you can do what you want.
