Default How do you like your 8FG?

I just put a Futaba T8FG on lay-away at my LHS, I should have it by the end of Jan.
I'd like to hear from 8FG owners about this radio. Thanks, Daniel.

Love my 8GFA. Very happy I made the switch from JR to Futaba when I went 2.4. It is really a great system.

I sold one of my 12FG's and got the 8FG little over a year ago, all I can say is that my 12FG is collecting dust.

Awsome radio, the programming is easier than that of the 9C's or 10C's and way more advanced.

It looks great, feels great and performs flawlessly.
So easy to program...I use it in my 30% Extra and I'm working on a 35%. I did the programming for the 35% in 5 minutes. This radio IMHO is THE RADIO of the moment. Ah...turns out it's not only a 8+2 but eventually a 12+2 channel radio via a future firmware update.

LOL

By the way, this is the easiest radio to program that I have ever owned.

Love it loads, superb powerfull radio,I have the 12fg too, will never sell either.I still cant see why the 10cg is £100 or more in the uk.the 8fg knocks spots off the 10c and is closer to the 12fg than the 10c.Also it really should be called a 10ch too as the 10c is an 8+2 anyway...FG

I'm soon going to give my son my 9C and the 8FG I own will be my every day transmitter when I fly Futaba. I did recently acquire a JR 9503 which I'm going to use mostly for backyard and BNF types from ParkZone and E-Flite. Both excellent radios.

I just ordered the 8fg last week. Should be in my hands in a few days. I cant wait. I have the 7C as did my brother. He just upgraded to the 10C. Its a nice radio (much nicer than the 7C) Its 10X smoother too. But to me for the money the 8fg is much much more. I cant wait to be able to compare all 3 radios this week. Well I have the 6ex too so all 4.
