I google searched your problem and I found this similar issue with the Turnigy TGY 9X:

I use Futaba personally with no problems. Good luck.

thanks for your search
but the problem in this thread is different as he is using 2.4g conversion kit corona
min is2.4g with TGY module

a question pls: is removing this uncovered part fo the antinna and solide the cable again to the Rx may solve the range issue ?

Reading all 3 posts, I still do not havea firm positive idea if your antenna you twisted is for 72 Mhz or 2.4 ghz.

On 72 Mhz a 1/4" length lost in the twisting would not be noticeable on performance.

On 2.4 Gig the antenna would be way out of tune.
A 2.4 antennas has to be dead on dimension to resonate in the band.

its 2.4 g as i mentioned above

so you mean by that is twisting the antenna may be the cause of this interference ?

i will try to provide photos by tomorrow

Have you tried Range Testing your system? If you are having problems maintaining the Link between the Tx and the Rx, a Range test should show that. Follow the instructions in your manual to check the range and report back the results.

I still do not see where you said it was 2.4.
That is now irrelevant since you now confirmed it is 2.4 Ghz.

I doubt that it is interfernce although it is possible.

One thng is certain is that you have detuned your antenna and likely lost control due to weak signal.

Re-do the antenna to original dimenions and layout.

I was typing while BuschBarber posted.

He is giving you good advice to make a range check.

I would still rebuild the antenna because the twist can give an antenna a different directivity.

anyway regarding the range testing i made it in my 1st use and it was very good for me

my mistake that i didn't make it again after the antenna twisting i will try doing it with the original setup and i will cover this uncovered part by a heat shrink and test again

Antennas on 2.4 Rx's are not necessarily just insulated wires, like a 72Mhz Rx. You may need to send it back to be repaired. If you have a second Rx, you can compare the Range you get with each to determine if the one with the damaged antenna has significantly less range. Perhaps you have friends that are also using the Turnigy Rx.

A Google Search for TGY 9X confirms this is a 2.4Ghz system.

the Turnigy 9X is a 2.4GHz system and a pretty good one once the V2 firmware is installed. If you fiddled with the length of the uninsulated section of the antenna then Zor is correct, you returned it. Did you do this to both the antennae?

Beyond the conversation up to now ____

The antennas is just an ordinary flexible wire covered with some rubber ( or siilar material) and a rubber piece that slips on giving it a bit of rigidity as it coes out of the case.

I am attaching some pictures that may help you do some repair.

Best 2 U and Good luck

Zor

P.S.: Hey they fixed the picture posting.
