Is Dual elevators on a Super 8 Radio with 7 CH RX possible?
Fellow Flyers,
I am relatively new to getting the most out of my Futaba Super 8. I have an 8 Channel RX that I have successfully used and programmed in my U-CAN-DO-3D. Can I use my old Futaba RD127 7channel Rxs and accomplish the same results even though I don't have a channel 8 to slave to channel 2? I have Don's book but it does not talk about this capability in praticular. Thanks in advance!

Jeff,
If it is 1024Z, it is possible that a channel is assigned freely. But, that function is not in a Super8.
Can you understand the electronic circuit?
There has already been lead on a microcomputer in a RD127 to nine channels. It is to connect a resistor and a condenser to a lead of the microcomputer that it is assigned to an eight channel.
Then, draw it with a connector from there outside.
Therefore, RX of eight channels is completed.
I think a condenser may be 1000pF, a resistor may be 470 to 4.7k ohms.
Good luck.

You can do two things, mix chanel 2 to 7 or use the ailevator function and then mix channel 8 to 7. I have used both methods sucessfully.
