Default JR 10X rx?

I recently purchased a used JR 10x, and have been using an old JR xf421ex FM radio. Do I have to switch the receivers out of my planes from my old FM ones to PCM ones?

You can still use Non PCM receivers with the 10X. Like many modern PCM compatible Transmitters, there is a Modulation parameter, in each Model Memory, that can be set to one or more versions of PCM, or PPM, which equates to Non PCM (sometimes referred to as FM).
