Default FATAL ERROR in airtronics M8

Hi,

I 'm very happy with my M8, is a excellent radio. But I wanted to activate the ALB function with the service menu (start the radio with left button, inc/+ and dec/- pushed all together), and then I stop and start again the radio the display show "FATAL ERROR" and sounds a continuous "beep". I test the radio with my car and the steering and throttle works fine, except the "FATAL ERROR" in the display.

Please you can help me. ?

Thanks

Regards, Iban

Call the service center number on your instruction manual and ask one of the techs. You will get the people that know for sure to answer your question and you won't get any this may work or that may work answers. It will be really quick to call them and ask, then you know for sure. I am assuming the radio is fairly new to you?

Default RE: FATAL ERROR in airtronics M8

I also struggled with the M8 ALB function. It was supposed to be there, why wasn't it? Turns out it is just hidden for some unknown reason. I found this page with all the scoop.

http://www.ifi.unicamp.br/~epiovani/M8.html

Worked for me.
