Futaba 9CAP frequency question
I have a 9cap on channel 17. I have a 149DP receiver on channel49 and also have a module on channel 49. Is there any problem with pulling out a low channel module and replacing it with a high channel module? May be a silly question, but I know there is a difference when changing crystals in a high or low channel receiver. Just do not know if the same applies for a 9cap transmitter. Thanks

RE: Futaba 9CAP frequency question
no problem at all...
the module system makes it very easy to change channels on the TX... which you could not legally do when it is just a crystal.

RE: Futaba 9CAP frequency question
The Modular system lets you change between channels in a band, or between bands. Any of the Futaba modules in the series will work, as well as some aftermarket ones.Including switching to 2.4ghz. The RF is completely contained in the module. That is what the FCC or other airway controlling agency is concerned with. You are not modifying the RF, just replacing it. Changing a crystal is modifying the RFso it has to be done by a licensed tech. Plug and play.
