That's actually pretty standard. Futaba 2.4 will only work with Futaba 2.4, Hitec only with Hitec, Spektrum only with Spektrum, etc etc. It'd be nice if everyone could standardize that, though, so we can go back to having a Futaba transmitter on a Spektrum receiver with Hitec servos.

Do not include the servos in that statement. Almost any modern servo will work with modern receivers. I have Hitec and JR servos mixed in one aircraft. I have JR anf Futaba servos mixed in another aircraft. They are hooked up to Spektrum and JR receivers. So the servos will talk to the receiver, it is just the receiver won't talk to the radio if it is not the same brand.

yea i also run traxxas waterproof servos in all my trucks regardless of the receiver.. and it would be nice if they would make them compatable with each other but im sure they code the boards so that they only work with that brand ... if they were all compatable alot of the compianies would go out of buisness due to people buying one kind of recive and another transmitter.. considering the transmitter seems to be where they make their money

Thanks for the insults, I did not need to get the gist of what you said, because I know better. If you answered as many questions as I do about servo-receiver compatibility, you would be more careful about your statements.
