Default Problem getting to Aurora 9 thread

Hi,

I received a message saying there was a new post to the Aurora 9 thread but I can't get to it - here is the link:

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=10433053

I can access other threads with no problem.

This is the message I get in the last readable post is the following, and it has been happening for the last couple of days:

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0113'
Script timed out
/forum/tm.asp
The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administration tools.

Could someone else please give the above link a try? and let me know if it works for you.

Thanks,

Wayne

I notified the Moderator, a couple of days ago, and he replied that he was working on it.

Hi,

At least I now know it is the site and not my system. Thanks for confirming the problem.

What I have learned is that one of the posters tried to upload an image to his post and after having problems doing so, he tried to delete the post. This was post 3438.

Each time I tried to load Pg 138, it would take over one minute. When it finally displayed, I could click on Reply and leave a message. While there, I could scroll down, to the list of the last 15 replies, and read messages posted after 3438, but I could not advance beyond Pg 138. I made a few additional posts, based upon suggestions from friends, to try to fill up Pg 138 and create a Pg 139, but I gave up and decided to seek out the Moderator.

If I went back in my email InBox, to a message with a link to Pg 137 or earlier, the page would pop up like normal, but if I then tried to advance to Pg138, it would take a minute or two to pop up.

The Moderator is working on the problem. I have a ticket open. He will inform me when the problem is fixed. I also sent a PM to Mike Mayberry. His post was the one we all received notice of, today, but apparently, the problem still exists.

To the moderator working on this, here is more information.

I have been having trouble accessing that thread for several months now. I don't remember when it started, but using the "go to most recent post" stopped working at least 2 months ago. Since then I have just been using the last page number link instead and manually scrolling through the posts on the last page.

Now even that does not work, as others have pointed out.

I think we all had this problem.

I have had the problem here for about two weeks or more.

I thouht the server memory had limits for a specific thread.and it was exceeded.

The Moderators are working on the problem and have not acknowledged what the problem is or when it will be fixed.

I knew that having read previous postings.

I wanted to show that the problem has existed at some locations (like mine) more than two days as some have reported.

Moderators can work on this problem if they also qualify as software engineers.
