Default JR Mixing for flaps problem

Hello,

Just got the JR XP8103 aircraft radio. The plane I am building forces me to mount the flap servos so that I must end up mixing them so that both flaps go down, instead of one going up and the other down. SO..... I have the R700 receiver and it looks like I am forced to plug the flaps into AUX 1 and AUX 2 inputs. I am mixing the two okay... however, the "pot" for AUX 2 still works the one servo on the one flap. I don't like this and want to disable the pot so that I don't goof up while flying.

Is there a better way of "mixing" the flaps?

Is there a way to disable the AUX 2 pot on the radio?

Any Help that comes I thank you.

Joe
p.s. I am using a retractable landing gear.

I don't have this radio but the PDF manual on page 46 say to inh the pot set the values to 0% quote from the manual below.

4.12 Flap Knob Adjustment (Function Mode)

Flap Knob Operating Adjustment

The Flap Knob Operating Value Adjustment Function allows
adjustment of the operational value of the flap channel (AUX 1)
using the flap adjustment knob. The factory preset values are as
follows: Trim 30%; INH 0%; and Full 100%. These are merely
starting points. They can be changed to any value using the
+ or - keys. This function makes fine tuning of the flaps very
easy.
In the Function Mode, use the UP or DN key to select Flap Knob
Adjustment and access by pressing the UP and DN keys
simultaneously.

Thanks Daniel for your reply. I did see that in the manual. However, that doesn't help what I was trying to do.

I decided to mount the servo 180 degrees around. It worked okay. Now I just need to get a Y adapter.
