Is this 2.4 module okay?
I am looking at this module from HObby King. FrSky FF-1 2.4Ghz Combo Pack for Futaba w/ Module & RX
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=14348
Will this work well with my Futaba 9CAP? Cannot beat the price, does anyone have any experience with these?

The FrSky stuff has a good reputation:

I would imagine you'll be quite happy with it if you choose FrSky for your 2.4Ghz upgrade.

I have it installed in a Futaba FP-T7UAF and so far has been performing very well. In fact, I like it so well I just ordered another receiver (FrSky USFR ACCST) as it is listed at $19.55 plus about $6 shipping. It lets me use all the bells and whistles the transmitter originally has; hard to beat for a full 8 channel system.

In Dec 2010 I upgraded my trusty Fut 8UAF system to 2.4 using the FrSky V8F series module and Rx and it's been rock solid in it's performance, plus it gives super fast binding and allows failsafe on all channels. I am so impressed that I am currently switching several of my other models to FrSky Rx's.

I have used the Assan conversion in a 9cap and in a 9303. Have about 15 rcvrs. Been well satisfied with the performanc. Late last summer I tried the FrSky conversion in my 9303. i'm flying a Wild Hare Edge with a DA50. Total replacement cost of this setup would be about $2000. I'm using a $18 FrSky rcvr. All my airplanes for the near future will have FrSky. Including my scratchbuilt Fokker DVIII, which is just getting ready for test flights.
I really like having all the features of a 9c or a 9303; without having to buy $100plus rcvrs. Dave I
