DX8 RPM ON GAS
Is anyone using the DX8 Telementry for in flight gas engine RPM? If so do you just connect the tach. lead from the ignition to the telementry module? Thanks for looking. Jim

RE: DX8 RPM ON GAS
Do you mean GAS or GLOW? The sensor is a hall effect sensor. On a glow engine, it attaches to the back plate of the engine, and will sense the rotation of the crank shaft. The other end attaches to the TX1100 Telemetry module.

It should work, to connect right into the Hall effect ignition pickup (some ignitions use this)
I made a bracket and adapted the pickup to use existing magnet on ZDZ engine
