Default switchin Hamm to FM

I have someone who wants to sell me a new JR 8103 set up on Hamm frequency (50mhz). I have an older JR 783. Can I take the frequency module out of the 783 and put it into the 8103 and expect it to work properly. If not, what can I do to switch over the 8103 to FM?

Thanks,
Tony

Yes. That is exactly the purpose of the NET-J72P RF module. The unneeded ham freq module should be easy to sell.
