Default spectrum ar6200 water proof

i fly helis and planes on the beach, and sometimes sh.. happens.

a few months ago i had to pull my 450 size heli from the bottom of the sea......
opened up dried/cleaned/oiled everything and tested it.
only the gyro (gy401) didn't work, everything else was and still is in good working order.

today it happened again..... i had to land a nitro plane right into the sea cause of a dead stick.....
same thing again dried cleaned oiled everything and it's all working.
again a ar6200 receiver but different one.

i thought the first time it was luck but it seems these receivers and the satellites are water proof .....

I much prefer to believe that you were twice lucky.

That's not a nice thing to say about the OP, sometimes strange things do happen.

That's not a nice thing to say about the OP, as sometimes strange things do happen. The first time my glow engine started without a battery igniter connected to it I was quite surprised myself.

You misunderstand me....if salt water gets into an energized reciever or battery, instant green corrosion forms and the equipment is usually destroyed.
Nothing personal.
Nothing new about starting a glow engine without a battery either....I've done it intentionally and by accident.
