Hobby King Orange FASST receiver 8 channel
Ihavea new Hobby King Orange FASST receiver 8 channel and I cannot get it to bind? No instructions came with the receiver and I cannot get Hobby King to respond with instructions. Also, I am told there can be a compatibility problem and a settingshouldbe changed in the transmitter? Anyone aware of this and if so please respond directly to my email [email protected] so I don't miss your response. Thanks in advance foryour help... Charlie

MinnFlyer, thanks for the reply and I did it and it workds now. I had a guy in my club mention something about making a change to the transmitter programming otherwise a problem(I think he said jitter) with the servos. Do you know about that?

On the Orange FASST reciever product webpage (there are 2 versions, pick yours) on HobbyKing.com, scroll down just past the product description and before user comments and there are webpage tabs to select various view, like "videos" and "files". Select "files" and there you will find the product manual in PDF format.
By the way, these Orange FASST receivers are repackaged FrSky receivers, so you can also download the manuals from "www.FrSky.com".
The jitter problems can be caused if 1) you have the receiver set to "fast" mode - intended for digital servos only but have analog (regular) servos connected; 2) have fail safe enabled on the TX side.
The (slim sized) manual explains this.

There is no 8 channels "Orange" Rx but there is a 9 channels and here is the manual:

Sorry mistook the FASST Orange for the SPEKTRUM Orange[&o]. The Futaba compatible "Orange" is actually made by FrSky and the manual is also availlable under "files" or from FrSky:

Jitter is also caused if the transmiter failsafe is not disabled the servos will twitch every 5 seconds or so
