Default homemade extensions for satellite antenna's ok?

Folks,

Got a JR 2.4 Ghz receiver with 3 satelite antenna's. Wondering if it's okay for me to make my own extension cables to fit them in the right spots in a model or is there some magic stuff that would mess up the timing/electronics here?

Cheers,

d

You can buy different length extensions, up to 36".

Shouldn't be a problem because they are not antennas. They are remote receivers.
