Ok guys polk hobbies is selling a reciever tunable to any
rc freq called the seeker( No not the folk rock music group
from the 60s) I am using a hitec eclipse with the spectrum
module .The seeker looked pretty good so I ordered one
You just hold in the push button --stick the transmit antenna
a couple of inchs away and it locks on to the transmitter neat
no crystal changes.seems good if you get to the field and one
of the folks is on your freq. just pick an other ..any throughts???
any one have it--used it--reliable???

I got the Seeker with my Tracker II radio and have, just for fun, frequently changed the frequencies on both to see how things worked.
No problems. Don't know what else to say.

The Seeker is the way to go. Works perfectly with the Tracker II or any other FM TX. You never have to worry about it being out of tune as it locks dead center on the frequency. This is the radio of the future.

I am currently running five Seekers with no problems at all. I have used them with the Hitec Spectra, Futaba 9C and, most recently, the Tracker II.

Not only are they extremely simple to change channels on, they automatically sense which freqeuncy shift your transmitter is using (+ve or -ve).

Any channel, any shift with the push of a button = never be grounded due to channel conficts.

The day is rapidly coming when manufacturers who fail to provide a double ended synthesized (or at least a single ended) system in their medium priced sets are going to lose big time in the market share race. Listen up No. 1 that is if you care and kudos to Hitec and Polks, it appears Hitec has a bit of catching up to do but always has.
