universal digital servo board?
I really don't know much about electronics but I wonder if a digital servo circuit board could be built that could replace the board in all our old analog servos? I have a bunch of like new good quality coreless servos that would be a lot better yet if they were digitals.
There must be thousands of them out there. Perhaps if not universal then one for each of the major brands such as Futaba, JR,
Airtronics, etc. Am I dreaming, or is that a possibility?

The feedback circuits would have to be matched to the inertial values of the motor or you would have to provide a way to tweak those circuits. With the price of the other servos , I don't think you would save any money. What I am saying is you could buy a new digital servo for less than that universal conversion circuit.
