Default 9C/TM8 with R6014 or other options

I have a Futaba 9C with a TM8 module. I also have a Smart-fly Power Extender Pro. I am working on a plane (warbird) that uses ten servos (2 elevaotr, 2 aileron, 2 flap, 1 rudder, 1 gear, 1 chole, 1 throttle). I have 8 ch R6008 receivers and know I can hook everything up using the Power Extender. For more options I have the following questions:

1. Using the 9C/TM8 combo and a 14 channel R6014HS receiver - can I use more than 8 channels on the 6014? I.e., am I correct I can use more than 8 channels but they will not be switchable or adjustable.

2. If I get a TM14 module for the 9C just what will I be able to do, i.e., will more than 8 channels be switchable and adjustable?

3. If I get a Futaba 10C transmitter with a R6014 receiver I have effective just moved from 8 fully functional channels to 10?

Thnaks /Steve

With the 9C/TM-8 module the R6014HS buys you nothing. The 9C only provides 8 channels of PPM output, so the 9th channel (on/off) is not usable.
The TM-14 cannot be used with the 9. It won't fit, and it only will accept the digital output of the 12FG, 12Z and 14MZ.
The 10C also only has 8 proportional channels, the other two channels are only on/off. The 10C is probably not going to be produced much longer.
The 8FG with the R6014HS is another matter. You'll have twelve fully proportional channels and two on/off channels. Hard to go wrong with the 8FG.

thanks Pete, that is what I was looking for. When you say 8FG are talking the actual 8FG or the new Super having that 12 and 2 capability. thanks.

Any 8FG is a "Super" once you load the new software via an SD card-for free[8D]
Big step forward for Futaba, since the days of the 9C eventually becoming the 9C Super, but only for new buyers[:-]
