Default 12X Question (Glider Mode)

Always a missed step, but I can't find it.
I have my flap/crow all figured out as per the manual, and programing guide.
Problem:
I would like to have my neutral position of my Spoiler stick at the bottom of the throw rather than at the (more common) top.
Funtion list: 71 Brake System

Note: The default setting for Spoiler offset Position is
at +100%. With this setting, the flap’s neutral position
(trailing edge level) occurs when the spoiler stick is in
the full up position. If you choose to locate the neutral
position in the down position, the value would be –100%.

I can't seem to get this value to -100% only 0.

What might I be doing wrong?

I can fly by applying stick back to apply crow, but my prefferance (years ago) would be stick up for application.

In advance, Thank-You.
All suggestion welcome.

To reverse the stick action on menu 71, in the lower left corner of the menu between START and 100 it probably reads NORM. Highlight NORM and press the roller bar to change it to REV. Leave the Pos. 100 setting at or near 100. The 100 represents the rest position be it at the top or the bottom. Decreasing the number gives more dead space before the stick comes into play.

Now if this is on a motor glider and you are using the left stick for throttle as well, The reversing will also take place on the throttle action. You will have to reverse the motor channel to get it back to normal. If you use the Motor Hold function, it will have to be set at +100% instead of zero for normal motor off.

Allan, thank-you for your reply (I highly respect your experiance).
Well I was looking in the right area. With my 10X I could reverse values. This is exactly where I was looking/trying. Where you say I should find "NORM" I find "SPOI". When I highlight that, all I can do is change the value from 100, to 0.
I did a full reset, changed the Aircraft Type to Glider then tried to reverse the stick travel in function 71.

Help from all appreciated.

Unless we have different transmitters, you are in the correct screen area but high light the item to the right of SPOI. See attachment.

I just checked the 12X manuals and the pictures there don't show the reverse stick function in the brake menu. I had my 12X upgraded to have momentary switches and the balance in ACRO work correctly. I don't recall anything about the upgrade affecting the GLID programming. But it may have. Possibly you should give Horizon a call.

Thank's again.
That is exactly what my screen looks like, less the (blocked) "NORM".
Truth be known, I am waiting on a second 12X that I bought used. Next week I will have a second, to compare with. With my work load currently, it will be a month until I get to the slope.

I will follow this through and post my outcome.

There seems to be various versions of 12X software out there. It is easy to duplicate the brake menu reverse stick option by using a couple of normal program mixes. Set up one mix of #SPO -> FPRN and another of #SPO -> FLAP. On both mixes, set the Offset to -170 or a lesser negative number (e.g. -140) if you want some dead space. Set the upper rate of either Pos0 or Pos1 to some value and leave the lower rate zero. In the Brake menu, you can still use the elevator compensation but verify the flap and flaperon rates are zero.

Allan,
Thank-You.
That works well. I have never used the Spoiler/Throtle stick position in any mixes before. Through this exercise I can see a whole lot of new applications for this type of mixing..
