Bone head move with a 9c
What a bone head move I just pulled. Threw my Futaba 9c on the charger for a few hours. When I went to unplug it, it nearly burnt my fingers. Turns out I plugged in the 12v 7amp wall wart I use for my battery charger into the transmitter. Im sure it was close to going up in flames. I was using energizer rechargeable batteries and about 5 minutes after unplugging it and throwing the batteries on the ground outside, I hit them with a temp gun and they were 167 degs F.
Good news is the transmitter still works, bad news is I cant fit the battery inside the transmitter due the the battery compartment and door melting out of shape.
I have had bad luck with transmitters lately, I have a DX7 and a JR7202 both with backup errors and now a partally melted 9C.

Humour is nothing more than tragudy plus time. Thanks for sharing
I've done a few boneheads that I wouldn't openly admit to yet, Ha-Ha.
Hope the rest of your season goes well
