You can get erratic operation from any of the radios if you happen to be too close to the RX with the TX and your packs are fully charged. Saw it happen with my Futaba 8FGS and said ***?  I turned off the RX, moved the TX away and powered the plane back on, and it stopped doing it.

I agree with the people who have switched to futaba.I have flown futaba FASST for years now using a tm7 module in an old ff7super,a ff9super and an 8fg and a 12fg with a tm14 module.I fly moulded gliders worth lots of money,down to fomies worth a few pounds and have NEVER had a single drop out/lockout glitch or anything.Others spectrum users new and old have had various issues some explained ,some not ,and many have jumped ship and bought an 8fg and sold their DX7/DX7s or DX8.They have then not had any problems at all.One guy sold his spectrumDX8 and bought an aurora 9 and has had no problems either but I know thats going off topic...Hope this helps in your decision..FG

I have had futaba radios since the early eighties never had a problem now have 8fg super and 10cag 2.4 ghz only problem ive had a crash was i was getting to wild to close to the ground also have a jr 10x with dsm2 9 channel module have not a problem. good luck.
