Smart fly EQ10 question
100 cc Aeroworks Extra 300 with two futaba 9155s in each wing. When setting up the plane I dialed the EQ-10 so that the servos didn't make any noise, ie the two servos in each wing weren't fighting each other. I have since had excessive aileron movement (almost looks like aileron flutter as I fly by). I have since replaced the gears in the 9155s and this has definitely helped. I am being told from one of my friends at the field that I should be dialing in the EQ10 so that the servos would push against each other just enough to take out any play that is still in the setup. My question is: will this cause early gear wear and can it damage the servos or cause other problems?
I am still fairly new to the multi-servo setups and latge scale planes.
Thanks

RE: Smart fly EQ10 question
Thanks Baracuda,
I knew that the instructions on the EQ-10 state to adjust each wing servo until they aren't fighting each other so doing the opposite didn't make sense. I have replaced the gear train in my servos and that did make a noticable difference so maybe there is where the problem was. Thanks

Here is something else you can use to make sure your set up is good. Dennis
