I had a recent encounter with a Team JR Flier and that vary question came up and his take was the non American version with the non assignable switches was to close to an 8103 and thay did not want it to appear as an 8103 that was just in a new case, so it was decided to give the American version a whole new software programming. Well that my take on the conversation anyway!!!!!!

There's yet to be a version of the 9X released in the US. As far as I know, no details about differences from other versions have surfaced yet.

Chris is in Australia. The version we eventually get here in the US is likely to have some differences.

Gents,

The last I heard on the grapevine is that the US version will be shown in Toledo in April.

I also know that because there are lots of similarity with the 3810 ( sorry ... to you guys its the 8103 ), Horizon want some radical changes to the software before it is released in the US.
