Default Wanna Help a New Guy with a DX7

Wanna Help a New Guy with a DX7 ? I have a DX7 with the DSX upgrade that I am trying to learn to program.. So far I have a Blade MCPX that I want to bind to it..( I know not a beginner heli, but that's another story)
Here's wher I'm at, I have the DX7 to where Heli is marked and have named the model.. I'm not real sure what I should do next? In the manual it says something about servo reversing, but I'm not sure if I need this or even how to get there..
In the Blade's manual it has a page that has all the settings for a DX7 Like Thro Curve, Pitch Curve and Reversing SW.. I'm really new so I don't know what all this is??
So I guess I'm asking for someone to hold my hand and walk me through this one time.. I could wait till I make it back out to my club but the weather isn't looking all that good and I'm bored tonight...LOL.. I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks ! Bill

For basic heli stuff and quite a bit of general radio programming info as it relates to helis you might look through some of the videos here.

http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=41692

Keep in mind that with most of the micro helis like MCPX with a flybarless CP rotor system that the Tx is sending signals to the Rx as a normal swash type. The CCPM conversion is done inside the Rx/FBL itself.Watch a couple of the basic videos and the DX7 one and hopefully it will make more sense.Ask more questions.

Thanks, that's a start.. I was already stuck on the SWASH setting.. The Blade manual called for a 1 servo 90 degree setting and all my Tx has is 1 servo Norm.. Thanks

Very good.Alot of the stuff is kind of generic. Most of the BNF stuff uses basic program info from the Tx and most of the more fancy programming for CCPM etc is done by the electronics in the model whether it is a micro CCPM board or FBL unit.Once you kind of understand what is going on mechanically its alot easier to know what to change electronically to make it do what you want it to.
Ask more questions if necessary.
