SPEKTRUM SWITCH SELECT
I have a DX8, and I am using a AR 7010 seven channel receiver. Everything is
going fine with the radio installation, except for the switch I chose to use to
turn off the opto kill switch. I hooked the kill switch up to another switch to turn it
off and on from outside the plane. It seems to be working well. When i try to turn
the kill switch off with the Aux2/governor switch on the transmitter, it won't go off.
Don't know what I'm doing wrong, but tried every way I know to remedy the problem.
Anyone have a solution, advice? Thanks, Aframe2

RE: SPEKTRUM SWITCH SELECT
I suspect that the kill function is set up to use a switch rather than a pulse rate. The receivers put out a pulse train, with pulse width dependent on the TX's control input for the channel. there are various sources for electronic units that accept the pulse train, and convert it to an on/off function.
Hansen Hobbies is one source.

RE: SPEKTRUM SWITCH SELECT
How do you have it wired up?
It should be
Ignition battery - physical switch - optical kill - ignition
The servo lead should be plugged into the channel you want to control it with.
If all that is correct, bring up the servo monitor screen and see what is going on with the channel where the servo lead is plugged in. The end points should be 100/100 and the light for the optical kill should light or go out when you toggle it.

Barracuda, I think I have it wired correct. When I go to the monitor screen to check
movement I don't see any( AuX2) on the screen. Could I have a bad switch on my
transmitter? Aframe2
