Default FLUTTERING IN RADIO

Am positioning the radio in the HOB ME109 and have a query!! The radio is a Tower Hobby with a 4 or 5 ch. Rx When the servos are plugged in without the ESC that was in the previous plane they flutter.....when you run the esc, even with it being a glow power, the fluttering stops. Seems odd to me. Any guesses??

. Swamping - cause of jitter when Tx & Rx are to close, includes 2.4Ghz.
and/or
. Transmitter On First - Off Last

I read ESC and I read glow power. Is this electric or glow powered ?
How are you powering the receiver?
