Default What servos for Seagull mxsr 91

I have just purchased this arf from Seagull and the instructions suggest to use digital servos. Now my question is which servos would be appropriate for this plane. Can i use analog ones too or not?
thanks in advance

Can you? Sure, we got along with analog servos for a long time.

But....(there's always a but) with a plane like this you're better off with decent servos. Aside from excellent centering, digital servos big advantage for a plane like that is they produce full torque almost instantly, that means their holding power is a lot better than analogs that only produce full torque when nearing their commanded position.

There should be a torque recommendation in the manual, let us know what it is.

I like Savox and Hitec servos personally especially in my larger planes.

BH made a very good point. If you have the funds, I'd use digital Savox.

I have a hard time choosing servos for any project, as some popular servos (like Hitec) develop quite a bit of slop and others have issues with centering. I also like fast servos (for better response) but do not have the money to spend around $100 on a servo (x 6) which would probably solve the problem.

Cheers, V.
