receiver/ignition/battereys interfearance on petrols help
guys i am new to petrol an quite recently my 1/4 extra 300 went into fail safe.
i dont no any rules or anythin about receivers batterys an ignitions on petrols but what i do no is that my ignition, ignition battery, battery an receiver were all within 2 inches of each other.
could this of coursed failsafe.
an as i am new could u please give me as much advice on what u should an shouldnt do with petrols..

Look no further.
First you shouldn't use PCM while setting up, because it will mask any type of problem when they are small.
Once everything is OK then if you insist on going with PCM, then by all mean fgo for it.
Now, keep the receiver, its battery, switch in the middle of the airplane, as for the engine compartment, that's where you would want the ignition battery, its switch, ignition module etc. and you should be OK,
Now, don't put a metal push rod from the throttle servo to the carburator.
Use a nyrod or such so as not to conduct electric interference.
