Default Can I change my Crystal 72 Mhz

A friend I fly with will give me a whole slew of Futaba good 72 MHz receivers , so my question is the receivers all have a #45 channel crystal in them , I have 2 radios with close channels to that and one is #43 and the other is #48 channel. numbers, can I just replace a crystal in any one of these receivers to [match my 72 MHz radio that #45 crystal in it just swap the crystal with a #43 will it work?

No problem at all! Just make sure to use the correct crystals for Futaba dual conversion FM receivers. I'm assuming these are FM receivers you're being given.

As Pete says, no problem as long as you use the proper crystals. Note: you cannot reliably use a Hitec crystal in a Futaba or any other mix of brands. Also, you have to make sure you have dual conversion crystals in a dual conversion receiver and single conversion crystals in a single conversion receiver.

There are only two types of transmitter crystals, AM & FM, no such thing as a dual conversion transmitter crystal.
Please refer to my earlier post.

Like Alan says, transmitters do not have a conversion type, only receivers do. And suzonka, do check out Alan's web site, it is a terrific source for good and reliable info on all aspects of radio control. You should put it in your "favorites folder" for future reference.
