Default Airtronics 92777 Receiver

My Airtronics RD6000 radio system came with a 7-channel
receiver and I'm wondering what function the 7th channel
can serve with the 6-channel transmitter. Specifically, I
would like to use the 7th channel to control my GV-1
governor. Is this possible? Can the 7th channel be
slaved to another (appropriate) channel?

Default RE: Airtronics 92777 Receiver

I'm not sure what purpose the 7th channel on your rx serves... maybe that receiver is bundled with other radios and it's cheaper to stick a 7 channel rx in than produce a seperate 6 ch. one?...the other idea that comes to mind, is taht it gives you a place to plug in the battery without having to resort to a "Y" cord...

As for using that 7th channel... I think you're out of luck. While I haven't delved into all the programming options on my RD6000, I don't think your rx can receive more channels than your tx is transmitting... after flipping through the manual, I haven't seen any reference to that phantom channel.....
