Default Airtronics SD-10G set-up questions

I have searched all through the manual and the set-up screen and I cannot seem to find an answer on how to assign the slider switches on the side of the radio to my flaps. I am using the 8 and 9 receiver slots. The radio refers to the switches as VR5 and VR6. Also does this radio have an ignition kill switch? Everything else is sorted out, just need these two items and I can be done with it. Thanks in advance

Go to the F mode menu and scroll down to #19 VR assign, You will find that the flaps are already assigned to the left slider VR6 but you can also change it to the other
slider if you wish. As for the kill switch you would scroll to #7 in the F mode menu TH CUT and you can assign any switch to work the TH CUT on mine I use sw12.

For Aero, note that the VR for flaps only works with the flap switch in Flap Position 1 plus you can only get 0 - 100% travel, not the full range of the channel. If you want more than that, you have to use the other flap switch settings or assign a VR to an Aux channel and plug into that. But then you give up the built in flap mixing functions.

Look under the Aero Flight Mode Menu, #14 Trim Authority
