kadet senior arf question
OK i am building a kadet senior arf and i am ready to put the receiver into the plane but i am not sure how to secure it. can you please tell me how to mount the battery and the receiver this is my first plane that i have built so any help, pictures or links would be greatly appreciated.

Receivers are often times wrapped in foam and "stuffed" under the servo tray, fuel tank, etc... Another mounting solution is to use velcro strips that a glued somewhere in the fuselage to secure the receiver. another solution is to zip tie it to a cross member that is either already in the fuselage or that is installed for the sole purpose of mounting the receiver. I often times use two cross pieces with a lite ply shelf and zip tie the receiver to this shelf. As you can see there is no one way to do this...
You will need to use some foam to protect the receiver, and the battery, from vibration -- not matter how you choose to mount it...
Depending upon your engine choice your Kadet Senior may be tail heavy. If this is the case then I would mount the receiver as far forward as possible, and I would put the battery up under/over/near the fuel tank...
