Default FUTABA PCM RADIOS

WHAT IS DIFFERANCE BETWEEN A FUTABA R127DP AND R128DP? HAVE A FP-T6NPK TRANS THAT WILL NOT WORK WITH R128DP? ME THINKS IT'S THE NUMBER OF CHANNELS ONLY BUT NEED TO KNOW FOR SURE PRIOR TO SENDING OFF FOR REPAIR THHAKS. OLD MANUAL SAYS USE R127DO 512 PCM TYPE?

Default RE: FUTABA PCM RADIOS

It appeas that the R127DP could be either a PCM1024 receiver or a PCM512 receiver as it is switchable between the two. The 128DP is only a PCM512 receiver. If you go to this page ( http://www.futaba-rc.com/faq/service-faq.html ) and "find" PCM you will find a table that explains this.

The best information that I have about the FP-T6NPK tells me it's a PCM512 transmitter.

This does not surprise me as it's an older "Conquest" model and was most certainly made before PCM1024 became the standard...
