Question servo problem

Hi, I'm having a problem with my hs 55 servo.
When I turn it it doesn't reset itself back to straight and I have to do it manually

Does the servo make any grinding noises, and does the motor continuously run when the arm is out at its extremities? If so, then the gears are probably stripped, you can get replacements at any hobby retailer that carries Hitec products.

If the servo moves out to that position and goes dead silent, chances are it's something with the electronics in the servo. You are always more than welcome to send the servo into us and we can take a look, but it may not be cost effective for shipping so it's entirely up to you.

How old is the servo?
