Just me again ,wanting to know how to tell what size esc to use on a drill motor voltage amps etc. unknown. it was given to me by a friend that found it and salvaged the motor.I hooked a six volt battery directly to it an it seems to have lots of torque.Any help appreciated .Thanks Smoke trail Charlie

Did you happen to record the brand name and model number of the drill?

No ,as I said in my note I got the motor from my friend and he did not know what kind of drill it came from.Thanks for your interest S.T. C.

How many cells are gonna be used?

I cracked up at your moniker ,Not sure of size Building a R C tug boat .Probably 7.2 ni cad Just because I have several S.T.C.
