Default Waterproofing servos with flex seal?

Hello all, I was hoping to waterproof my servos with flex seal and I came here looking for advice on how I should go about it, more specifically applying it to and around the actual gear/control arm(new to the hobby) just bought my first nitro buggy from redcat so still learning the basics please have patience!

I use thick grease around the spindle in my sea plane just as a precaution.

I would think Flex Seal would have same results, and be alone the same lines as using Plastic Dip.
