Default Futaba 4 arm servo output numbers

I have never bothered with the numbers 1-4 printed on the servo arms . I just select whichever arm output is needed for my use.
However its interesting to know what the numbers really signify .........degrees offset from center? Any ideas ? Tks

Yes, the Futaba arms have an odd number of grooves in the spline, This allows you to make minor adjustments when setting up you servos the first time so that you can get a position that puts the arm in the proper position when the servos are set to neutral.
